Pre-dissolve this product in a clean plastic container at a maximum rate of 200g per 10 litres of clean lukewarm water and add the resulting solution to the pool or spa near the returning water inlets with the filter running.

The ideal total alkalinity level is between 80 - 150mg/l (ppm). test the total alkalinity of your pool or spa water and if it is below 80mg/l (ppm) use total alkalinity raiser to increase the level.
